Delete your account and data

Trade Junction accounts belong to a business. How you delete depends on who you are.

If you own the business

Sign in on the website and open Store settings, then Delete this business. You type the business name to confirm. This permanently deletes the business, every shop in it, its products, sales, customers, staff accounts and records. Download any reports you want to keep first.

If you are a seller, manager or other staff member

In the Trade Junction app, open the Cash up tab and tap Delete my account, or sign in here and use Delete my account now: it happens straight away. If you cannot sign in any more, send the request below. Sales you rang up stay in the shop's books without your personal details, because the shop must keep its financial records.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted: your name, phone number, email, username, PIN and sign-in.
• For a whole business: everything above for every member, plus products, stock, sales, customers, invoices and settings.
• For a staff member: sales they rang up stay in the shop's books with the seller shown as "Deleted user"; nothing personal is kept.
• We complete a verified request within 30 days and confirm by your email or phone.
